We have always had a very keen interest in all things heritage, wanting to keep them alive for future generations to enjoy. This first started with vintage vehicles, restoring and showing our collection. Taking people for their first ride in a car that their 'granddad use to own'. This proved to be very popular, including working with filming companies and museums to recreate our past.
The New Idea
Nothing shows our fantastic heritage in full swing than a fun fair, from the transport through the streets - the excitement people first experienced when they set eyes on the fair coming to town, for the very first time. It was a spectacle for sure. The colourful vehicles, stalls & attractions, all the bright lights just sucking you into the atmosphere it created.
We wanted to make this something people to experience again - the good old traditional Fair!
Things started to happen
We did not want to just go out and buy ready to open, ready to run attractions. We wanted to restore them, projects someone had in their shed but never will get time to do. So we went on the search for old, unloved attractions that we can bring back to their former glory ready to entertain families again.
Present Day
After a lot of work, determination and some might say stupidity! we achieved what we wanted to do, a whole traditional fair that we can take around in one load, behind our Vintage lorry - including our Classic showmans van home. Attending events and private hire to spread the fun of the fair.
We are still working hard behind the scenes to continue to grow our attractions with some very exciting new projects on the horizon.
